The film “Don Elvis” written and directed by Paolo Cammarano, is about Antoniu Petrescu, a catholic priest living in Roma, Italy, who has become a rock’n roll star.

Born 37 years ago under the Ceausescu’s Romania, where everyone lived a double life, between  reality and propaganda. In 2004 he came to Italy to become a priest.

Nowadays he’s known as Don Elvis for his passion for Elvis Presley. During the day he carries out normal priestly functions; at night he becomes the impersonator of Elvis Presley, the king of rock ‘n Roll.
